The problem
The management of medical records, the analysis of reports and the entire clinical documentation, although increasingly managed in digital format, has the following problems:
– difficult to find and read by healthcare personnel who have to decide quickly regarding the treatment of patients
– long times in text analysis, that requires an understanding of the terms in the application domain
– an higher percentage of errors in document categorization, when done manually
– difficulties in finding the right health documentation. which makes the process of diagnosing and treating patients more difficult and complex
The solution
Revelis developed MeDICA, a platform based on Rialto ™ that enables the analysis and automatic classification of health documentation (analysis of reports, classification of medical records) based on the Thesaurus Mesh of the National Library of Medicine.
